Common questions

Planning an interior design project can raise many questions. This FAQ page provides clear answers about Bodesign Studio’s interior design services in Charlotte, NC, including our process, timelines, scope of work, and what it’s like to collaborate with our team from concept to completion.

If you are located in Charlotte or within approximately two hours of the Charlotte metro area and are considering an interior design project, the first step is to complete our contact form to schedule a discovery call.
This initial call allows us to connect with you, learn about your home, lifestyle, and goals, and determine whether we are the right fit for your project. It is a no-pressure conversation designed to provide clarity and ensure alignment before moving forward.

As early as possible.

For home renovations, kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, and furnishing projects, we strongly recommend bringing us on board before demolition, construction, or furniture purchasing begins. Ideally, we join the project at least three months prior to construction. Early involvement allows us to establish a clear design direction, make informed selections, and collaborate closely with your general contractor, preventing costly mistakes and delays.

For new build projects, we prefer to be involved during the pre-construction and planning phase. Early collaboration enables us to review architectural floor plans for functionality, flow, and furniture placement, and to suggest adjustments before plans are finalized. This approach ensures your home is designed around your lifestyle and provides your builder and architect with a cohesive design vision from day one.

Bodesign Studio serves homeowners throughout the greater Charlotte metro area, across both North Carolina and South Carolina. Our service areas include, but are not limited to:

Lake Norman, Myers Park, SouthPark, Dilworth, Waxhaw, Weddington, Matthews, Ballantyne, Pineville, Fort Mill, Indian Land, Belmont, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Indian Trail, Tega Cay, and Rock Hill.

We also take on select projects throughout the Carolinas, depending on project scope, timeline, and overall fit.

Our design approach is layered, curated, and deeply personal. Rather than adhering to a single aesthetic, we blend styles to create timeless interiors that reflect your lifestyle and aspirations.

We often mix Organic Modern with Mediterranean influences, Mid-Century Modern with Japandi, or draw inspiration from the European countryside. Natural materials, thoughtful textures, and balanced proportions are central to our work, resulting in spaces that feel warm, elevated, and enduring.

Your vision is always our foundation, our expertise brings it to life in a way that feels cohesive, intentional, and authentic.
