As early as possible. Ideally before you begin demo, construction, or purchasing furniture. Many homeowners don’t realize the value of involving an interior designer until key decisions have already been made. We prefer to join your project at least three months before construction begins so we can establish a clear design direction, make thoughtful selections, and coordinate with the General Contractor. Bringing us in early ensures a smoother process, fewer costly changes, and a beautifully cohesive result from start to finish.

If your project requires design direction + selections + sourcing + progress site checks + installation, it qualifies as full service.

Yes. We regularly collaborate with contractors, builders, and trades, and we are also happy to work with your existing contractor if you already have one. Our process includes detailed drawings, specifications, and ongoing communication to ensure your contractor knows exactly what to execute and when. If you need a contractor, we can refer trusted local professionals whose work aligns with your project’s scope and quality expectations.
Absolutely. One of the first things we focus on during the initiation phase (Phase I) and early in the design phase (Phase II) is ensuring your investment aligns with your wish list. Many clients aren’t sure what their design investment number should be and that’s completely normal. In Phase I, we have intentional conversations to understand your goals and establish realistic expectations. In Phase II, we refine the numbers using real products, materials, and services so you have a clear, accurate budget that fully supports your design vision.

For Full Service Interior Design, we charge an hourly rate that varies based on the project’s complexity and scope. Once we receive your project details, we will provide a more accurate estimate tailored to your specific needs.

Bodesign Studio proudly serves homeowners in the greater Charlotte metro region across both North Carolina and South Carolina. We work in communities and residential areas including Lake Norman, Myers Park, SouthPark, Dilworth, Waxhaw, Weddington, Matthews, Ballantyne, Pineville, Fort Mill, Indian Land, Belmont, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Indian Trail, Tega Cay, and Rock Hill. We also take on select projects throughout the Carolinas depending on scope and fit.
