Welcome to
New Mark Project

Built in 2022 by a mass builder, this home in The Palisades neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina, had plenty of space but little character.
Despite its beautiful location just two minutes from Lake Wylie, the home lacked architectural interest and a sense of personality.
The owners, a family originally from Honduras with two young children had lived in the home for three years without feeling connected to it. They dreamed of a space that felt warm, layered, and true to their story. That’s where Bodesign Studio stepped in.

As part of our full service interior design approach, we reimagined the living and dining rooms with thoughtful architectural details and custom elements that instantly elevated the space. Crown molding, medallion and a new fireplace mantel brought architectural interrest, while custom built-ins added warmth, storage, and visual balance. A fresh paint palette, layered lighting, and a mix of curated and vintage furnishings created depth, comfort and soul. Every element was intentionally chosen to bring harmony, and comfort, turning it into a home the family could finally connect with.
